Paula Álvarez Riu attended the ERS Congress 2026 in Barcelona, presenting a poster and oral communication on daily walking activity, long-term air pollution exposure, and COPD exacerbations (Mobilise-D consortium). She also volunteered for a full day performing spirometry testing open to the public as part of Healthy Lungs for Life, an ERS/European Lung Foundation campaign to raise awareness of lung health.
