The European Respiratory Society (ERS) Congress
From 5–9 September, Prof. Dr. Sarah Koch and Dr. Laura Delgado-Ortiz will participate in the European Respiratory Society (ERS) Congress 2026 in Barcelona, Spain. As one of the world's leading conferences in respiratory medicine and science, the ERS Congress provides a platform for discussing the latest research on lung health and environmental risk factors. Their participation offers an opportunity to engage with current evidence on the health impacts of air pollution and to exchange perspectives related to the INCLUDE project, which investigates how environmental conditions, physical activity, and biological and social sex interact to influence the health and well-being of older adults. The congress fosters valuable dialogue on how research can contribute to healthier and more resilient living environments.
